Downloading Windows Defender
Protecting your computer is important, because you want to avoid the security threats posed by malicious software and spyware. The Windows Defender program complements anti-virus software by detecting and automatically removing malicious software from your desktop computer or laptop. It also prevents pop-up advertisements and can speed up the performance of your computer. Windows Defender is easy to set up and use. Scan your computer manually at any time or configure Windows Defender to scan the computer automatically at set times of the day. Windows Defender isn't pre-installed on computers, but it's free to download and use.
