How do I Delete Recent Searches in Dogpile From a Mac?

The Dogpile meta-search engine stores your recent search terms to better help you navigate search results and aid you in finding the information you really need. If your recent searches list is getting too long and cluttered, or if you just want to clear past search terms for privacy reasons, you can delete the information from the Dogpile search recall.

        Close your current Internet browsing window(s), and quit your Web browser. This will clear your recent Dogpile searches. If you want to clear your recent searches without exiting your browser, continue to the next step.

        Navigate to a Dogpile search results page that displays the web results for any searched term. This page loads after you click the "Go Fetch" button.

        Click the "Clear All" link under the "Recent Searches" heading on the right side of the webpage. Your recent searches will be cleared.
