How to Hide Electrical Cords in White Walls
Setting up an entertainment center can be a lot of work, but once everything is complete, your home will look clean and organized. One issue that can arise when hooking up appliances is keeping cords untangled and looking organized. With some strategic placing and creativity, it is possible to hide the cords against white walls. Use Velcro ties to secure extra long cords. Pick out the extra long cords and wrap them toward the back of the appliance. Leave enough of the end of the cord hanging out so that it reaches the outlet or power strip. Wrap a Velcro tie around the cord and secure it in place. Tuck the wrapped cord directly behind the appliance so it is out of view.

Install a white cord control tube behind the entertainment center. The white cord control tube is one long tube that has a slit down the side. This tube allows you to tuck all the cords inside the tube. This will leave you with one white cord instead of many different colored cords running in all directions.

Cover any extension cords or cords that need to run along the wall or baseboard with a white cord cover. This is a long, plastic or rubber piece that has adhesive on the back. Run the cords in the slot behind the cord cover and stick the adhesive to the wall.

Use white paint to cover any corded areas that are easy to see. Check with the instructions and manufacturer's guidelines to be sure that the item can be painted. Many control tubes, cord covers and even some appliance cords can be painted white if they are not easy to hide.
