How to Change to the Active D Drive
An active partition is the section of your hard disk that holds all the system files required to run your computer. Also known as the "system drive," the active partition consists of your Windows operating system files. Typically, the active partition is dedicated to your C: drive by default; however, if you plan on using your D: drive as the active partition, you can do so by changing certain settings on the Control Panel. Note that you will require administrative privileges to complete this task.
