How to Find Out Cubic Volume
Cubic volume is a three-dimensional measurement of the area inside a space. You can calculate or find the volume of a cube by multiplying its length by its width by its depth. Because all sides of a cube have the same measurement, the volume of a cube is also its length to the third power. You can express the cubic volume in any linear measurement including inches, meters or feet.

1
Determine the length of any side of the cube. You can use a tape measure or any other measuring tool to take your measurement. For example, assume the length of a side of the cube is 12 inches.
-
2
Convert the length to your desired form of measurement. For, example, you could convert the inch measurement to centimeters. There are 2.54 cm in 1 inch. Continuing the same example, 12 x 2.54 = 30.48

3
Multiply the length by the width by the height, all of which are congruent. Continuing the same example, 30.48 x 30.48 x 30.48 = 28,316.85 cm cubed. This figure represents the cubic volume of the object in centimeters.
