How to Fold a Decorative Flower Cone
A flower cone is an excellent craft project that allows you to store dried flowers, paper flowers or fresh flowers in an attractive way. Making a flower cone is straightforward enough for a young child to do, and also makes a sweet gift for them to present to their parents. - Tag board
- Pencil
- Compass
- Scissors
- Glue
- Spray paint
- Ribbon (optional)
- Scrapbooking embellishments (optional)

Use the compass and pencil to draw a circle on the tag board. The distance from the center point of the circle and the edge of the circle is the height of your floral cone.

Cut out the paper circle with a pair of scissors.

Cut a pie-shaped wedge from the circle. The wedge should remove about ¼ of the circle. Cut a larger wedge for a very narrow cone or a smaller wedge for a very broad-mouthed cone.

Curl the two cut edges of the paper circle together and overlap them; glue them together.

Cut a strip of tag board that is 9 inches long and 1 inch wide.

Glue both ends of the strip to opposite sides of the opening of the cone to make a handle.

Spray paint the floral cone and handle.

Decorate the cone with ribbons and scrapbooking embellishments if you wish.
