How to Access an Accounting Program

Accounting software programs are an easy and beneficial tool to use when you need to keep track of your finances, whether personal or business. Installing a program such as Intuit QuickBooks, or an open-source program like Turbocash, gives you quick access to digital bookkeeping tools. Accessing these programs from your computer is easy to do, once they are installed.

Instructions

1. Locate the desktop icon of your accounting software program. It may also be located in the Applications folder if you are not using a Windows-based operating system.

2. Double-click the icon to launch the software program.

3. Enter any required license keys or preliminary information to gain access to the accounting program.
