How to Make Business T-Shirts
Designing a T-shirt with your business name and logo has two main benefits: It promotes company allegiance and it provides free advertising. If you run a store, restaurant or something similar, it also gives your customers an easy way to identify your employees if they have a question to ask. With many custom shirt websites on the Internet today, designing the perfect shirt for your business can take less than 10 minutes.

1
Find a manufacturer to make the shirts for you. Many companies can be found online, such as CustomInk and Logo Sportswear.
-
2
Pick a style for your shirt according to what's available from the manufacturer. For a shirt to be worn for casual events like a company picnic or for a more casual workplace, choose a plain T-shirt. For a slightly more formal look, choose a collared T-shirt.

3
Choose a color for your shirt, according to the choices provided by the manufacturer. If your company has a color associated with its logo, pick a T-shirt color to match. If you don't have a company color, now is the time to decide which one best fits your image.
-
4
Add your business logo or name to the T-shirt. Most companies will allow you to choose where to place the logo, such as written in big letters across the front or as a small image in the top corner. Choose a color that complements the color of the T-shirt. Alternatively, keep the logo the same color that your business always uses for its letterheads, envelopes and company signs and choose a complementary color for the shirt itself.
-
5
Choose a number of shirts to be ordered and place your order. If you feel uncomfortable asking your employees for their sizes, estimate by purchasing a few smalls and larges and the bulk of the shirts in a size medium. If you are deciding between two sizes for a specific person, opt for the larger size to make sure that it will fit, even if it's a little big.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't yet have a company logo, now is a great time to have one made because it will be showcased on all of your T-shirts. There are many companies that will design a logo by providing you with a few samples and allowing you to tweak and choose your final design, such as Cooltext. Logomaker allows you to design it yourself using its company tools and only purchase it if you are happy with the final result.
