How to Make Magnets From Marbles
Marble magnets are whimsical refrigerator accessories that are often purchased from bookstores or specialty shops. Marble magnets are often given as a housewarming gift and can be purchased in sets of corresponding designs or colors. However, if you cannot locate the designs you are looking for, you can create your own marble magnets using a few common crafting items. Once finished, your marble magnets will look the same as professionally created marble magnets.

1
Plug in a hot-glue gun to heat up for 5 minutes. This will allow the hot-glue stick to melt inside of the gun, enabling it to be squeezed out of the tip.
-
2
Arrange a flat, clear marble upside down so that the flat side is facing up.
-
-
3
Punch out a picture from a magazine or greeting card using a 1/4-inch single hole punch. Save the punched out hole.
-
4
Squeeze a dollop of hot glue onto the flat part of the marble and place a punched out picture onto the glue dollop. Make sure that the picture is facing down.
-
5
Press the adhesive side of a piece of tape magnet against the hot glue and press the glue flat. This will make the punched out picture press close to the clear glass marble and will make the back of the marble lie flat on the refrigerator.
-
6
Trim around the edges of the magnet so that it is not wider than the marble.
-
7
Repeat with as many marble magnets as you want to make.
