Switching e-mail forwards is a convenient way to streamline your business.

Automatic e-mail forwarders are useful to business owners, webmasters, Internet marketers or anyone with multiple e-mail addresses. Save time and effort by checking only one inbox for all of your e-mails, instead of logging in to mailbox after mailbox. If your main e-mail address changes, you may have to reconfigure your forwarders. This can be done several ways, depending on how you originally set up the forwarder.

Instructions

  1. Changing Forwarders With CPanel

    • 1

Log into your Cpanel account by going to: http://YOURDOMAINNAME.com/cpanel.

    • 2

Click "Forwarders" under the "Mail" tab.

    • 3

Delete any outdated forwarders by clicking "Delete" next to the forwarder.

    • 4

Click the "Add Forwarder" button to add a new forwarder.

    • 5

Enter in the e-mail addresses from which you wish the e-mail to forward, and the e-mail you wish the messages to forward to. Click "Add Forwarder."

    Changing Forwarders in Outlook

    • 6

Open Outlook and delete any outdated forwarding rules by going to "Tools" > "Rules and Alerts" and deleting the forwarders you will no longer use.

    • 7

Create a new rule by going to "Tools" > "Rules and Alerts" > "E-mail Rules" > "New Rule."

    • 8

Select "Check Messages When They Arrive," and click "Next" in the Rules Wizard dialogue screen to forward all incoming messages.

    • 9

Select or enter the e-mail address you want the messages to forward to.

    • 10

      Save your new rule.
