How to Activate a Time Warner Digital Phone

Time Warner Cable is a cable company headquartered in New York that provides service to customers across the United States. Time Warner Cable offers cable television, high-speed Internet and digital home phone services. The digital home phone service works using your existing land line telephones.

Instructions

1. Go to the Customer Self-Install online order request form for your local Time Warner Cable company. (See References.)

2. Go to the Time Warner Cable homepage and enter your zip code in the appropriate field. Select the option to order new services.

3. Select "1" from the drop-down menu to order a digital home phone self-installation kit under the "Digital Home Phone" option. Enter the requested personal information including your name, account number, service address, telephone number and email address. Click the "Submit" button to place your order. You should receive your kit in approximately three to five business days.

4. Call your local Time Warner Cable company's digital home phone activation line. You will find the number listed inside the self-installation kit. The customer service representative will ask you a series of questions to verify your identity and activate your digital home phone service while you are on the phone.
