1
Provide your 10-year-old with a list of birthday party options, such as various sleepover parties or other theme parties. Ideas include indoor camping parties, Harry Potter theme parties, spa sleepovers, Hollywood parties, beach theme parties or dance party sleepovers.

Purchase appropriate favors and games based on the party's theme. A beach party, for example, would involve a lot of sand in the backyard or party space, beach balls, plastic sandcastle tools, lots of kiddie pools and slip-n-slides. Favor ideas include beach-themed key chains, photo frames and magnets. A dance sleepover party could include a dance floor space, disco ball and music note decorations, lots of glitter, glow sticks and plenty of dance music.
