How to Change the Band on a Pair of Crocs

Crocs come in a variety of designs. A popular design is the plastic Croc clog, which is lightweight and worn by men, women and children. The clogs come in a variety of colors and can be customized with special buttons. Another way to customize a pair of Crocs is to change the heel band, which is often referred to as a Croc strap. While replacing the Croc band is simple, it can take a lot of strength if the band is stubborn and tight. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Pinch the Croc logo on the band between your thumb and index finger. Hold tightly. The logo is located both sides of the band and looks like a black circle.

    • 2

Grasp the Croc band with the opposite hand and pull it away from the shoe. This will stretch the band, making the hole that goes around the rivet that attaches the band to the shoe larger.

    • 3

Loosen your pinched fingers and pull the band off of the rivet. Repeat on the other side of the Croc band.

    • 4

Hold the Croc band so that the logos are facing up. Press the hole behind the logo over the rivet and press down firmly to attach.

    • 5

Repeat on the other side to finish attaching the band.

Tips & Warnings

  • Croc bands are not universal in size. When purchasing new bands, make sure they will fit your current pair of Crocs. The band sizes should be printed on the package.
