Change of Address Instructions
The thought of notifying everybody about a change of address can seem exhausting when you're in the middle of packing and sorting items. Getting mail to your new address is as simple as filling out and submitting a change of address form to the United States Postal Service (USPS). Notify the USPS in advance to allow the change to be made in time.

Tips & Warnings
Notify current -- and previous employers from the past year -- about the change of address. Tax information is automatically sent to the address that employers have on file.
Notify magazines that you subscribe to of the address change. While it's common for magazines to be automatically forwarded, it may not work all the time.
The mail will be forwarded permanently unless you specify that it's a temporary change.
