How to Unlock Mystery Diamonds

You can share Pokemon mystery gifts with friends.

The Pokemon games have a lot of hidden content to unlock and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl is no exception. To unlock the Diamond and Pearl mystery gift, you need to perform a certain set of actions within the game as well as attend a Pokemon promotional event. Once you have done this, you will have a rare and powerful new Pokemon at your disposal.

Instructions

1. Start the game and go to the Jubilife TV center. Go to the second floor and look for a man and woman in conversation. Speak to the man.

2. Answer his first question by selecting the option "EVERYONE HAPPY." Answer his second question with "Wi-Fi Connection." Save the game and reset it.

3. Choose "Get Via Wireless" from the menu that appears when the game opens to select how you will get the gift. Find a Nintendo-hosted Pokemon mystery gift event via the Internet. Attend the event to collect the mystery gift via the wireless connection of your console.

4. Use the new Pokemon as you would any other in your collection. They are generally more powerful, or at least more useful in certain situations, than any of the other Pokemon in the game.
