Instructions for an Audiovox XMFM1 FM Direct Adapter

An Audiovox XMFM1 FM Direct adapter is an external component that plugs into your radio receiver and draws Satellite radio signals from the area. This can allow you to listen to satellite radio on an FM radio. The adapter quickly plugs into your radio, so you don't need to know much about electronics in order to use it.

Instructions

1. Locate the antenna jack on your particular radio receiver console and unplug the antenna cable currently plugged into it.

2. Plug the XMFM1 adapter connector into the antenna jack on your radio console.

3. Place the adapter on your dash as close to the windshield as possible.

4. Turn on your vehicle and your radio. An LED light will flash on the adapter, informing you that the adapter is in use.

5. Scroll through the list of FM channels and you will find that you are now picking up many satellite channels.
