How to Use Hydrogen Peroxide As Natural Hair Dye
Hydrogen peroxide is a cheap way to lighten your hair. At around a dollar a bottle, hydrogen peroxide costs less than more expensive hair dies and a lot less than going to the salon for a dye job. It is also more subtle than many other hair dyes. Hydrogen peroxide works well on blonds and making blond tones lighter. In fact, many commercial hair dyes contain hydrogen peroxide as one of the active ingredients. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Cut a small piece of your hair from the back of your head in a nonvisible place. Tape the strands of hair together to create a test strip. Everyone's hair reacts differently to hydrogen peroxide, so a test strip allows you to see how it will change your hair. Pour a solution of half water and half hydrogen peroxide over the test strip of hair.
