Simple Salmon Salad
Salmon is a fresh and saltwater fish, high in protein, omega-3 fatty acids and several vitamins that are beneficial to your body. Salmon can be utilized in several different recipes, including a healthy and simple salad. Salmon salad tastes similar to the more common tuna salad and takes only a few minutes to prepare. Things You'll Need
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. plain yogurt
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- Salad bowl
- Large wooden spoon
- 2 cups canned salmon, drained
- Plastic wrap
- 4 lettuce leaves

Combine mayonnaise, plain yogurt, celery and ground black pepper in a salad bowl.

Stir the ingredients with a large wooden spoon until thoroughly combined.

Crumble the drained, canned salmon into small, bite-sized pieces, and discard any skin or bones.

Add the crumbled salmon into the bowl, and stir until all ingredients are mixed evenly.

Cover the salad bowl with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for two hours before serving.

Serve each helping of the salad on a bed of two leaves of lettuce. This recipe yields enough for two servings.
