How to Remove Office 2007 Document Image Writer
The Microsoft Office Document Image Writer print driver is a feature included with the Microsoft Office Document Imaging application in Office 2007. The Document Image Writer installs itself as a virtual printer, allowing you to create TIFF or MDI-format files from any program which can print. The resulting TIFF or MDI-format files can be opened in the Microsoft Office Document Imaging application. If you don't want the Document Image Writer appearing as a printer in the list of installed printers, you can remove this feature from your Office 2007 installation.

Navigate to the "Start" menu and select the "Control Panel."

Click "Uninstall a Program" under "Programs."

Click "Microsoft Office 2007" in the list of installed programs and click the "Change" button.

Click "Add or Remove Features" and "Continue."

Click the "Plus sign" to the left of "Office Tools."

Click the icon to the left of "Microsoft Office Document Imaging" and click "Not Available."

Click "Continue" and "Close."
