How to Remove a Web Post on Twitter
Twitter works in real time, which means the moment you post your 140-character-or-less status updates, or "tweets," they are out there for the world to see. Unfortunately, once you post a tweet you can't edit its content. You can, however, delete a tweet if you want to permanently remove it from your Twitter stream and profile. The number of people who see your tweet before you delete it depends entirely on how many followers you have.
