Instructions

    • 1

Make a clear wrap carrot. Cut a 12-inch section of plastic wrap and place it flat on your work surface. Smooth the plastic wrap while you lay it out so it doesn't cling to you or your clothing.

    • 2

Roll the sugar cone inside the clear wrap. Lay the cone on the left side of the clear wrap and begin rolling with the upper left corner.

    • 3

Continue rolling the cone until the clear wrap is completely covering the cone. You have a carrot-shaped container for your loose candy.

    • 4

Remove the cone from the clear wrap by gently pulling it directly upward toward yourself.

    • 5

Fill the carrot with loose candies like jelly beans or chocolate-covered pieces. Leave a 2-inch section empty at the top.

    • 6

Use a ribbon to tie the carrot closed. Twist the clear wrap until the top is completely gathered and place a 6-inch ribbon around the twist. Tie the ribbon and reform the clear wrap top.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wrap cookies and cupcakes using a 10-inch piece of clear wrap. Place the clear wrap on your work surface and set the cupcake on top, in the center. Pull the clear wrap up on both sides to cover the cupcake. Twist the top to close it and tie a 6-inch ribbon on the twist to complete the closure.
