Place four 4-oz salmon fillets in a buttered baking pan, approximately 1-inch apart from one another. For best results, the salmon should be fresh, never frozen. However, if frozen, thaw the salmon completely before baking.

    • 3

Open a can of crushed pineapple and pour 1/4 cup of the juice over the salmon fillets.

    • 4

Spoon 1/4 cup of crushed pineapple over each salmon fillet. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.

    • 5

Place the pan into the preheated oven and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon begins to flake.

    • 6

Serve the salmon fillets covered in crushed pineapple immediately. Drizzle leftover juice from the pan over each fillet for extra moisture.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use crushed pineapple with heavy syrup as it may burn in the bottom of the pan.
