How to Clean Real-Fyre Gas Fireplace Log Sets
A fireplace with burning logs makes a cozy place to settle around in the winter, even if the logs aren't real. Gas log sets, like the Real-Fyre log sets from the RH Peterson Company, look like real logs but they are used for gas powered fireplaces. Gas fired logs come in vented and unvented varieties. Turn off the gas fireplace and let it cool.

Brush the built up soot from the Real-Fyre logs with the stiff brush.

Stir the embers in the bottom of the pan to loosen the material.

Blow compressed air into the pilot light and the burners to remove any clogs, dirt or dust that could affect the burn of the gas.
