Instructions

    • 1

Shampoo and dry your hair as normal; a flat iron works best on clean, dry hair. Conair recommends placing a light styling product in your hair before drying, to provide additional protection from the heat of the dryer and flat iron.

    • 2

Plug the Conair Nano Silver Tourmaline Ceramic straightener into an outlet and turn it on. Choose your desired temperature by pressing the plus or minus buttons and wait 30 seconds for the flat iron to heat up.

    • 3

Section your hair so that you focus on one part of your head at a time. Hold the rest of your hair out of the way with a hair clip.

    • 4

Take a 1 1/2 half inch wide and 1/2 inch thick section of hair and place it between the two plates of the flat iron, at the root of the hair.

    • 5

Glide the flat iron down slowly from the root to the end of the section of hair. You may have to repeat two to three times per section of hair, depending on the texture of your hair.

    • 6

Repeat the same process on the rest of your hair until it is styled as desired.

    • 7

Run a comb through your hair for a finished look; combing your hair will also help to release any heat left over from the flat iron.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never leave your flat iron plugged in or unattended.
