How to Read Recovery & Sticker Labels
Recovery and sticker labels are two labels that can be used as identifiers for a plethora of items and purposes. There are 12 kinds of labels used in the world today, from medical labels to industrial labels. Sticker labels can fall into several of these categories of labels, whereas recovery stickers or labels can be restricted to three types of labels: Petcare/Household, Direct Mail/Piggyback and Pharmaceutical/Health Care items. Look at the label. If the label says "If found, please return to:" then it is a recovery label.

Find the contact information for the person to whom the item belongs.

Call the person to whom the item belongs and inform them that they have lost the item and make arrangements to return the item.
Sticker Labels

Look at the label. If the label has no contact information but states what the item is, then it is a sticker label. The label may include quantity, item description and an item name.

Read the label and find the section where the company name is provided on the label.

Use as directed or return to the company if the item is lost and found.
