Trampoline Safety Net Installation

Trampoline safety nets are enclosures that can help prevent people from flying off the trampoline when they are jumping on it. Trampolines are known to be relatively dangerous, since they usually involve jumps and tricks that can sometimes bounce a person out of control and off the trampoline. Install a safety net to help lower the risk of injuries.

Things You'll Need

  • Trampoline safety net
  • Safety net poles
  • Safety net anchors

    • 1

Purchase a trampoline safety net that will fit your trampoline. You will have to buy a specific enclosure that will fit the dimensions of your circular or rectangular trampoline. Most trampolines have safety nets made specifically to fit them, so look into this during or after the purchase of your trampoline.

    • 2

Unpack the safety net and install the poles into the trampoline using the provided clips from the safety net set. The poles will generally attach to the poles that the trampoline stands on, and they will extend upward around the perimeter of the trampoline.

    • 3

Unroll the safety net from the set and lay it flat on the ground to get it oriented. You will want to locate the door and arrange the net on the poles so that the door is facing the direction you desire.

    • 4

Hang the safety net by attaching it to each pole. Begin at one pole and work your way around the trampoline, attaching the net to each pole as you go. The safety net will hang down from the poles and connect at the bottom of the trampoline.

    • 5

Secure the safety net to the trampoline by securing the bottom anchors to the trampoline frame.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also add padding to the springs surrounding your trampoline to prevent further injury.
