How to Decorate With Indoor Plants
Indoor houseplants provide the finishing touch when decorating your home by adding life to an otherwise cold room. The type of houseplant to purchase for your home depends on the amount of sunlight your room receives, as some plants thrive in indirect sunlight rather than heavy sun exposure. If you wish to decorate but have little time for plant maintenance, cactus plants or spider plants are low-maintenance plants that are ideal indoor plants, as they require little attention and generally maintain a healthy green color without the need for constant watering. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Place a medium-sized tabletop plant in the middle of your dining room table. The plant acts as a centerpiece, and should be colorful to create a focal point on the table. Choose a plant that is large enough to complement the size of the table, not overwhelm the space.

2
Set a floor plant in a bare corner of your room. Living rooms and bedrooms often have an odd corner which presents a decorating quandary, but a large potted plant helps pull the room together. Aglaonema 'BJ Freeman' is a tried and true indoor plant that is low-maintenance and brightens a dull room.
