Plastic bottles can be used to hold a variety of different products. They are perhaps most commonly used as soda bottles, but are also used to hold milk, juice and a number of other drinks. You can reshape these plastic bottles to use them for a variety of practical purposes or for decorations. This can be done from your oven and must be completed carefully and quickly to avoid hurting yourself and to shape the bottles correctly.

Visualize how you would like to reshape your plastic bottle and select an object that you can shape the bottle with. You will be wrapping the plastic around this object to shape the bottle. The object can be something ceramic, such as a bowl or something metal, such as a tool.

Cut off portions of the bottle to allow yourself to more easily wrap the bottle around the shaping object once you remove the bottle from the oven. You will likely have to remove any skinny necks from the bottle, as these will not be as useful in shaping.

Set your oven to 300 degrees and place a layer of aluminum foil on your cookie sheet.

Place your plastic bottle on the cookie sheet and insert the sheet onto the center rack of your oven.

Leave the plastic bottle in the oven for four minutes and quickly remove from the oven. Once removed, the bottle needs to be shaped quickly. Have your shaping object on hand and remove the plastic from the tray as soon as it comes out of the oven. Using your oven mitts, wrap the plastic around the shaping object and leave it there to cool. The plastic will then take the solid shape of the object it is wrapped around.
