How to Download RAW Files to Photoshop Elements 6
Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 allows you to edit picture files for use in creating scrapbook pages, CD/DVD labels or cards. You can alter the appearance of the pictures in many ways before use. RAW files are unedited files such as negatives, and are not compatible with Photoshop Elements unless you download the RAW file plug-in.

Download the Adobe Photoshop Camera RAW plug-in using the link in the Resources section.

Right-click the plug-in and select Extract to unzip it.

Click Browse and then locate the Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 application (it will probably be located in the C: drive). Double-click the Photoshop Elements 6 folder. Double-click Plug-ins and then click File Formats.

Click "Extract" to place the plug-in you downloaded in Step 1 within the Photoshop Elements 6 folder. You can now download RAW files to Photoshop Elements 6.
