Some Red Cross volunteers travel overseas to aid those in medical need.

Founded in 1881, the American Red Cross aids thousands of individuals throughout the world by providing emergency relief, supplies, medical care and counseling. The organization is built on a dedicated and well-developed network of volunteers who collaborate to help neighbors next door and those across the ocean. Given the range of services the American Red Cross offers, volunteers of all skill sets and backgrounds are needed.
