How to Divide Pallets With Cardboard
Protecting your freight cargo is important, as any damage could cost you or your business money. Taking a relatively small amount of time to properly place cardboard between your pallets before shipping, can save you time and trouble down the line.

1
Collect enough sturdy cardboard to adequately cover all the pallets you are sending. You'll want enough to cover all six sides.
-
2
Use sturdy tape to attach your cardboard to the sides of the pallet. This will prevent the different pallets from damaging each other, as they jostle during shipment.
-
-
3
Attach cardboard to the top and bottom of the pallet. This will prevent damage to your products as they are moved around by a forklift or hand cart.
-
4
Wrap plastic around the cargo. This will further secure the cardboard dividers, and add extra protection for your products during shipping.
