Dividing your pallets with cardboard can protect your products and save you money.

Protecting your freight cargo is important, as any damage could cost you or your business money. Taking a relatively small amount of time to properly place cardboard between your pallets before shipping, can save you time and trouble down the line.

Instructions

    • 1

      Collect enough sturdy cardboard to adequately cover all the pallets you are sending. You'll want enough to cover all six sides.

      Use sturdy tape to attach your cardboard to the sides of the pallet. This will prevent the different pallets from damaging each other, as they jostle during shipment.

    • 3

      Attach cardboard to the top and bottom of the pallet. This will prevent damage to your products as they are moved around by a forklift or hand cart.

    • 4

      Wrap plastic around the cargo. This will further secure the cardboard dividers, and add extra protection for your products during shipping.
