How to Boot From a Recovery Disc in Vista
Despite its security model advances over previous generations of Windows operating systems, Windows Vista is still susceptible to viruses, accidental file erasure and system corruption. When Windows Vista no longer boots or encounters severe system errors, it is necessary to perform a system recovery to make the computer operational again. Each Windows Vista disc also operates as a recovery CD.
