How Do I Change My Wireless Password on Verizon?

Verizon Wireless uses a central-user account that authenticates its subscribers and grants them one-click access to a variety of services, such as billing information, service addition or removal, text and voice history logs. This account password is important to the security of your phone number, and to all phone numbers connected to your data plan. It is a good idea to change your password regularly to help prevent third parties from guessing or using this information against you.

Instructions

1. Log into your "My Verizon" account from the Verizon Wireless website.

2. Click "Account Profile" below the "Account" label on the top of the screen.

3. Click "Change" next to "Password." You will be prompted to enter your current password once, then your new password twice. Click "Submit" to save these changes.
