How to Find Out How Much Time Someone Has Spent Playing WoW

"World of Warcraft" is an enormous timesink for most people. That's not to say the game isn't enjoyable, but it can take up a large part of someone's life. If you're ever interested in how long you've played a single character or all of your characters, you check the total time played for each character. The total time played represents every second that character has been logged in since you've owned the game.

Instructions

1. Open the "World of Warcraft" game. Log in.

2. Choose which character for which you wish to view the total time played.

3. Press "Enter" once the game world appears. Type "/played" without the quotation marks. The total time played for that character will appear, with the number of days, hours and minutes.

4. Repeat the process on all characters to check the total time played since you've owned your "World of Warcraft" account.

Tips & Warnings

• "/played" also displays your time played at the current level.
