How to Make My Twitter Page Display Only My Posts

When you log in to your Twitter account in a Web browser, you see your home timeline. This view of your account shows you up-to-the-minute tweets and retweets from the people you follow. Most of the time, that's the view you want. After all, you chose to follow these individuals because you're interested in what they think and say. But every once in a while, you want to see your own tweets instead, either to make sure you did or didn't post something or to see your tweets in chronological order.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch your Web browser. Load the home page for the Twitter website.

    • 2

Click on the "Sign in" link and enter your user name and password. Click the "Sign In" button to log in to Twitter.

    • 3

Click on your avatar, user name or the total number of tweets you've posted. This information appears on your home timeline once the page finishes loading.

    • 4

Read through your tweets after the page displaying them loads in your Web browser. You can promote a tweet to a favorite by clicking on the "Favorite" link in each individual tweet. If you're unhappy with one of your tweets, you can delete it by clicking on the little trash can icon associated with it. You also can view all the lists in which your user name appears by clicking on the "Lists" link below your avatar and user name.

Tips & Warnings

  • Direct messages you've sent are displayed separately from your regular tweets.

  • If you see tweets you didn't post attributed to your user name, contact Twitter and take steps to protect your account.
