How to Recover Data on a SanDisk

SanDisk is a company that produces widely used media-storage devices, particularly via flash drives. Just like any storage device, portable or otherwise, you may run the risk of accidentally deleting the files stored on it. Since SanDisk flash drives are not part of the computer, you may not be able to take advantage of the native programs on your computer. However, you may still be able to use the SanDisk Memory Card Recovery Program to get your data back.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch the SanDisk Memory Card Recovery Program.

    • 2

Attach your SanDisk flash drive to a free USB port on your computer.

    • 3

Click "Open Card" in the recovery program. Select your flash drive from the list that appears. This will cause a list of recoverable files, if any, to appear.

    • 4

Click the file(s) you want to recover onto your flash drive. Hold down the "Ctrl" key as you click to select multiple items.

    • 5

Click "Recover" to get back the selected files. The files will be saved onto the flash drive again.
