How to Add CellGuard to Your ADT Package

ADT Secuirty Services is a subsidiary of Tyco International. The company offers a variety of alarm and security packages to protect homes and businesses. Safewatch CellGuard is a service you can add to most residential ADT packages. Safewatch CellGuard uses a cellular transmitter installed on your property to communicate with ADT in the event your telephone line becomes inoperable. You can add Safewatch CellGuard to your residential ADT package by calling ADT's home security customer service number.

Instructions

1. Call ADT's home security customer service number at 866-746-7238.

2. Press "1" on your phone's keypad and then press "3" to connect to an ADT sales representative.

3. Tell the customer service representative that you would like to add Safewatch CellGuard to your ADT package.

4. Schedule an appointment. The ADT customer representative will schedule an appointment for a service technician to come to your home and install the CellGuard transmitter.
