DIY Cookie Bouquet
Presenting interesting gifts to loved ones gives you the ability to create something from the heart as opposed to buying something impersonal. When you make gifts from scratch you can use your creativity to guide you to make unique items such as cookie bouquets and other edible arrangement types. Knowing how to make a cookie bouquet serves as a fun and variable project that you can customize in a myriad of ways.

1
Make from scratch using your favorite recipes or purchase a dozen assorted different cookie types. If you're using homemade cookies, make them 24 hours in advance and refrigerate them.
-
2
Place a cookie of your choice face down. Place a bamboo stick vertically at the bottom of the cookie with the top end of the stick overlapping it by an inch.
-
-
3
Pick up the cookie and bamboo stick, holding the two items together. Wrap the cookie and part of the bamboo stick with a square of colored cling wrap. This holds the stick firmly into place and adds a touch of color to the cookie and stick creation. Repeat this task with 11 more cookies and sticks.
-
4
Bundle the 12 wrapped cookies with sticks together into a handheld bouquet. Secure a rubber band around the stems at the top near the cookie bundle.
-
5
Snip a length of ribbon measuring 12 to 24 inches in length. Tie it into a simple bow around the rubber banded part of the cookie bouquet.
-
6
Place the cookie bouquet into the vase. Choose a vase that accents the look of your cookie bouquet.
