How to Stop Errors During a Registry Scan
The registry is a hierarchical database in Windows that stores the settings information for the operating system, user accounts and any program installed to your computer. Scanning your registry periodically for errors is an effective way of keeping your computer running at the best possible performance. Run the scan while in Windows safe mode to stop any errors from occurring during the scan process. Safe mode only allows the necessary drivers and programs in your operating system to launch.
