Any Way to Clean the Lens on an S210?

The Nikon S210 is a high-quality digital camera designed for amateur and recreational use. This user-friendly camera allows you to take photos and video, record messages and playback all media inputs at the push of a button. Just like with any other type of digital camera, the lens may require cleaning occasionally when you notice cloudy images or residue buildup on the lens of the camera.

Things You'll Need

• Microfiber cleaning rag
• Electronic cleaning wipes
• Cotton swabs

Instructions

1. Turn off the camera, and wipe off the lens gently with a dry microfiber cloth. This typically removes dust and light fingerprints.

2. Gently wipe an electronic cleaning wipe over the camera lens. Make sure the cleaning wipes you are using are "safe for use on digital camera lenses" or something similar. These wipes are available at electronics stores.

3. Wrap a cleaning wipe around a cotton swab, and rub along the border of the lens.

4. Let the camera air dry before using.
