I Can't Delete Flash Player Shared Objects Files

You can easily delete cookies stored on your computer's hard drive by using the "Delete Cookies" option in your browser. It's not as easy to delete Flash player shared objects files, also known as Flash cookies. This is because the Flash player maintains its own set of cookies, independent of your browser. Any website has the ability to create Flash cookies and use them to track your Web browsing history. If you wish to delete these objects and clear your history, the procedure isn't difficult.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the "Website Storage Settings" page on the Adobe Flash website (see Resources).

2. Scroll down to the "Flash Player Settings Manager." You should see a list of websites that have stored Flash player shared objects on your computer.

3. Click "Delete All Sites" or highlight the ones you want to delete and click "Delete."

4. Click "Confirm" in the pop-up window that appears. The selected Flash cookies will be deleted from your hard drive. You can delete Flash cookies stored on your computer in the future by revisiting this website and repeating this simple procedure.
