Way to Find Out the Status on a Pending Approval of a Green Card
People living in the United States that were not born here and who are not U.S. citizens are issued green cards, which provide permission for them to live and work here as permanent residents. There are multiple ways to obtain a green card, such as being sponsored by a friend or family member, by an employer or through refugee or asylum. Some people apply for their own green cards. Whatever method you used to apply for your green card, you can find out the status of your application by checking with the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Service.
