Instructions

    • 1

Place a ladder next to the window that you'll be working on.

    • 2

Climb the ladder until you can comfortably reach the top of the window frame. You should not have to stretch or struggle to reach.

    • 3

Draw a line with a pencil directly above the window frame. Use a balance as a straight edge and to ensure that the line is completely parallel to the window frame.

    • 4

Place the mounting mechanism along the pencil line you just drew.

    • 5

Drill into the screw holes in the mounting mechanism with your power drill and the screws that came with the window covering assembly.

    • 6

Unfasten the screws if the mounting mechanism is not straight. Re-mount and use the balance to make sure it's straight during the second attempt at installation. After that, your window covering is ready to use.
