How to Check the Text Usage on a GoPhone

The GoPhone, sold by AT&T Wireless, comes in both a prepaid and a monthly plan option. Customers who select the monthly plan option may choose between having a limited or unlimited amount of texts per month or an unlimited amount. If you chose the option for limited texts, keeping an eye on your text message usage should be a top priority. For example, using more text messages per month than you are allotted per your plan can incur extra fees. You can check your text usage via AT&T's website.

Instructions

1. Navigate to AT&T's website.

2. Click "My Wireless Account" in the top-right corner of the website.

3. Enter your wireless number and password. Click "Continue."

4. Scroll to the "My Current Usage" section. The amount of texts you have used will be displayed within this section, next to "Messaging."
