How to Close a Juicy Umbrella

Juicy Couture is a women's clothing company that also sells branded accessories such as handbags, purses and umbrellas. A Juicy umbrella is made with a push-button mechanism to release the runners that hold the umbrella open. The umbrella opens and closes in the same way as most umbrellas you have probably owned through the years. When the sun shines, you can close the umbrella and stow it in your handbag. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Push the button on the underside of the umbrella where the runners connect to a hub that slides along the shaft.

    • 2

Pull the hub toward the handle until it clicks in the locked position.

    • 3

Wrap the cloth closure strap around the umbrella fabric, and close the snap.

    • 4

Slip the umbrella in its carrying case with the handle exposed at the bottom of the case.
