Refill Instructions for BernzOmatic Lighters
BernzOmatic lighters are designed for utility use and are suited for lighting grills, outdoor fires, candles and other general purpose igniting. The lighters are available in fixed or flexible stem configurations. BernzOmatic lighters feature the ability to be refilled. A butane refill cylinder is required to replenish the butane level in the BernzOmatic for continued use.

Hold the BernzOmatic lighter so the fuel fill valve on the bottom is easily accessible.

Press in on the fuel fill valve with the blade of a screwdriver to release any remaining air or gas from the lighter tank.

Insert the tip of the screwdriver blade into the slot of the flame adjustment screw on the bottom of the lighter and turn to the lowest setting as indicated on the lighter.

Hold the BernzOmatic with the fuel valve pointing up. Place the fill nozzle of a butane refill cylinder on the lighter valve and press down.

Hold the refill cylinder in contact with the lighter valve for at least 10 seconds. Remove the refill cylinder, and allow the butane in the lighter to warm for 30 seconds.

Adjust the flame adjustment screw in 1/4-turn increments. Ignite the lighter, and adjust the flame until it is at the desired height.
