How to Get Internet Options Back
Internet Options play an important role in your Internet use; deleting temporary files, history, cookies, Web form information and passwords. You can also change or modify your security and privacy settings, block content, set up Internet connections and manage add-ons. There are many important things you can do within the Internet Options settings, so losing access to it can seem terrible for an Internet user. Fortunately, there is a way to retrieve your Internet Options.

Log in to your PC and click on the Start menu to find the option "Run." Click "Run."

Type the word "regedit" and click "OK."

Scroll to the top of the page and open the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder by double-clicking on it.

Double-click "Software," which will be found in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder. Under "Software," double-click "Policies," double-click "Microsoft" and then double-click "Internet Explorer." If you do not see "Internet Explorer," skip ahead to Step 7.

Double-click "Restrictions" under "Internet Explorer." If you do not see Restrictions, skip to Step 7. Under "Restrictions," you should see a section called "NoBrowserOptions" that has the value "1."

Hold down your right mouse button on "NoBrowserOptions." This will display a menu. Choose the option "Delete" from that menu. A prompt will ask you to confirm, so click to confirm. If you do not see "NoBrowserOptions," skip to Step 7. You should now have access to "Internet Options" from your "Tools" menu.

Repeat steps 1 to 6, but instead of starting with HKEY_CURRENT_USER, start with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. This should allow you to get through all the steps to get your Internet Options back.
