How to Uninstall a RibbonCustomizer

RibbonCustomizer is a third-party add-in for Office 2007. RibbonCustomizer adds a button to the ribbon, which replaces the toolbar in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook 2007. The button brings up a dialog which lets users edit the tabs, groups and buttons shown on the ribbon. RibbonCustomizer even includes "Classic UI" tabs, which emulate the original Office 2003 menus and toolbars on a tab in the Office 2007 ribbon. Before installing a new version of RibbonCustomizer, users must uninstall the old one.

Instructions

      Click "Start" and "Control Panel."

      Click "Uninstall a Program" under "Programs."

    • 3

      Click "Pschmid.net Ltd. - RibbonCustomizer Add-in" in the list of installed programs.

    • 4

      Click "Uninstall" on the toolbar.

    • 5

      Click "Yes" to the confirmation prompt.
