How do I Load a Konica Fs-1 35Mm SLR Camera?
The Konica FS-1 introduced the world of 35 millimeter cameras to the concept of automated film loading. While loading film had long been a process requiring hand-eye dexterity, the FS-1 was the first camera to utilize a built-in motor to facilitate film advance after loading. The FS-1 was produced by Konica from 1979 to 1983, and it remains a legendary and sought-after camera in the world of photography.

Tips & Warnings
To make sure there is no slack in the film, turn the film rewind crank clockwise 360 degrees. This will ensure that the perforations on the film engage with the sprockets of the auto-load mechanism.
Long-footage film can also be loaded into the camera if cut at a 90-degree angle, then loaded according to the instructions outlined in steps one through five.
