How to Focus on a Self-Timer With a Rebel
Like many other digital SRL cameras, the Canon Digital Rebel comes with a self-timer that's handy when you want to put yourself in the picture. But, like others, the Rebel doesn't automatically focus itself after the self-timer is activated. That means you need to bring the picture into focus before you start the timer. You have two options, one that uses the camera's autofocus system and one that requires you to manually focus the image.
